Introduction
As a special operation equipment for naval forces, the UPV-3D Diver Carrier is mainly equipped for marine corps, reconnaissance units, and special operation forces of various countries. It can also be used for police anti-terrorism and reconnaissance missions. The UPV-3D Diver Carrier is capable of secretly transporting 1 to 2 divers along with their accompanying equipment to designated locations underwater for special operation tasks. It can be launched and operated directly from ships near the shore or from the water’s edge.
Performance Features
The UPV-3D Diver Carrier can transport two divers simultaneously for underwater operations. Both divers are propelled forward by the diver support frame, which minimizes physical exertion for divers during underwater navigation.
The protective cover at the front of the carrier can block the impact of water flow on divers’ masks and mouthpieces during underwater navigation, enhancing riding comfort.
It adopts a propulsion configuration of "motor + duct + propeller", with a maximum underwater speed of 4 knots.
The "cross rudder" is used to control the carrier’s underwater heading, ascent, and descent, featuring easy operation and sensitive response.
It has reliable and convenient retraction and deployment functions, and can be locked at any retractable position to adapt to divers of different heights. The minimum retracted length of the carrier is only 1.4 meters, facilitating storage and transportation. After deployment, the carrier has a cargo-carrying function and can hold no less than 60L of weapons and equipment.
It provides underwater heading indication via a magnetic compass, as well as near-surface satellite signal positioning and heading correction functions.
It is equipped with an underwater lighting function.
