Introduction
The navigation version of the UPV-3D Diver Carrier is upgraded from the basic version by integrating an underwater integrated navigation device, enabling precise underwater path navigation. When the carrier is used in conjunction with the underwater integrated navigation device, the navigation device connects to the carrier’s display instrument via a watertight cable. It transmits real-time position and speed data to the display instrument, presenting accurate underwater paths and position information. When the carrier is in shallow water areas where GPS signals are receivable via the antenna, the underwater integrated navigation device updates and displays position information in real time and re-plans the path.
The underwater integrated navigation device, which is used with the carrier, can also be used independently by divers in handheld mode. After the carrier reaches or approaches the underwater target, divers can detach the underwater integrated navigation device from the carrier and use it as a handheld tool. It provides path guidance for divers to perform underwater operations at designated locations and to locate the carrier after completing the operations
