The Merak-120ST Fiber Optic Gyroscope (FOG) is a high-precision three-axis angular rate sensor based on the Sagnac optical effect, featuring all-digital closed-loop detection technology. Its system architecture includes one electronic processing unit and three sensing heads, optimized for navigation applications to enable rapid startup and reduced alignment time. Angular velocity data is provided in real-time via serial interface, ensuring accurate and reliable performance.
