The Merak-98ST Fiber Optic Gyroscope (FOG) is a military-grade three-axis sensor system using digital Sagnac interferometry in a distributed architecture (1 control unit + 3 sensing heads). Specifically engineered for fast-alignment navigation applications, it delivers real-time angular rate data for critical platforms including missile guidance, avionics, naval systems, submersibles, and rail monitoring.
