The MERAK-50S Fiber Optic Gyroscope (FOG) is a high-performance angular rate sensor based on the Sagnac optical effect. Using advanced all-digital closed-loop detection technology, it delivers real-time angular velocity output at frequencies above 4 kHz through a standard serial interface. The MERAK-50S series is available in single-axis, dual-axis, and three-axis configurations, with multi-axis models featuring a shared light source and processing circuitry for synchronous orthogonal axis measurement.
