The Merak-50S Fiber Optic Gyroscope (FOG) is a high-performance angular rate sensor based on the Sagnac optical effect, utilizing all-digital closed-loop detection technology. It delivers real-time angular velocity output exceeding 4 kHz via a serial interface. The series includes single-axis, dual-axis, and three-axis configurations, with multi-axis variants sharing a common light source and processing circuitry for synchronous orthogonal axis measurement.
