The DP-D80 Doppler Velocity Log (DVL) is a high-precision underwater navigation instrument based on the Doppler acoustic principle. It measures three-axis velocity relative to the seabed or water column and provides real-time altitude measurement between the transducer and the seabed.

The system can operate independently or be integrated with inertial navigation systems (INS) for data fusion, enabling more accurate and reliable underwater navigation.

With a 600 kHz operating frequency, compact design, and low power consumption, the DP-D80 is suitable for integration into autonomous underwater vehicles, unmanned surface vessels, and other marine platforms requiring precise motion and positioning data.
